Step one
Familiarize yourself with your character. It will take some trial and error to discover you character's attack range, jumping height, etc. Once you become familiar with the basics, try to learn more advanced tricks, such as how to dodge a monster that is chasing you by turning around and jumping at the same time.
Step two
Find a good place to train. A good place has a lot of monsters that are at least 3 - 5 levels below you. Try finding a mob that isnt too long to kill, but still gives back alot of exp.
Step three
Get a good equipement More you have a good equipement, more you'll be good at gaming and faster you'll kill monsters, getting experience faster for sure...
Step 4
Dont fail at a children's game xD
Other useful tips
-When you talk to non-player characters (NPCs), you can make them instantly finish their talk by clicking the text screen.
-It's OK to die. You will be transported to the nearest town with 50 HP and as much MP as you had when you died. After you make your first job advancement, however, every death will cost you a percentage of your experience, though you cannot be leveled down by this method. Characters with low LUK lose 10%, increasing LUK lowers the exp lost to a minimum of 5%.
-Always train on monsters a few levels below you. You will have less of a chance of dying and you will gain experience faster because the monsters will be easier to kill.
-When you are selling your loot from monsters, sell them at a potion shop so you can stock up on potions
-Check to see if your armor and weapons are up to your level. .
-Never leech off of your party unless the party master or a majority of the party approves of it. Leeching without their permission will get you a mass defame and a boot from the party.
-Common hotkeys in their default places are the following. Quests Window: Q. Equipment Window: E. Stats Window: S. Skills Window: K. Friends/Party/Guild Window: R. Pickup Items: Z. Sit: X. Chatroom: C. World Map: W.
-Always fight monsters to get the things they drop. You never know when you will encounter people which want to buy the items from you.
As well...
Most useful tip I would give is to ALWAYS take dropped item, mesos or whatever. They might be useless, but you can always sell them or use them later on. NOTHING is useless, but sure though they dont have all the same importance. If you see someone who doesnt take mesos, etc or equips dropped by monsters, take them! Its never stealing when they still didnt pick it up after the drop delay.
Happy maplying
